1. What type of lighting should use for the dining room?

Many factors need to be taken into account,


a. The type of décor
b. The arrangement of the items in the space
c. The complexity of lighting needed, ex. fixture over the table, accent lighting for objects, or paintings, wall sconces or recessed fixtures to enhance the table setting.
d. What type of construction exists and what are the existing electrical feeds, ex. Sheet rock ceiling or cement ceiling.


This determines the number of groups of lights and the type of lighting needed.

2. What type of fixtures should I use to complete my kitchen lighting?

Kitchen lighting needs to be functional as well esthetically pleasing. Therefore, in some instances fluorescent light is preferable if the kitchen is regularly used, halogen fixtures are also recommended. These two sources can be dimmed as well as give a close match in color rendering. This is important so that the items prepared look good in appearance.

3. What type of accessories can be used in the living room to create a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere?

The home is a place one wants to relax. Fixtures that provide indirect light are generally very desirable. Wall sconces are another source of as well as recessed fixtures for accent lighting of paintings and objects.

6. What are the suggestions for picture lights?

We have a variety of different picture lights. The size of the painting will determine the size of the fixture that should be used.

7. Do the exterior light fixtures have to match the colors of the house?

The fixtures follow the color scheme that the customer is using, for example, if the window trims are white, the fixtures could be white, rustic, satin nickel, etc.

8. I wish to add some color in the living room area. What are my limitations and my possibilities so I can add a little more detail in the area?

The possibilities are unlimited. Each situation is different and should be treated as such.

9. I would like a modern style in my dining and living room area, but m electric connections are not in the center of the room. What can I do?

We have a number of different options, rail, cable systems and fixtures with offset electrical feeds. We can create a design especially for you, depending on your lighting needs.


10. In what areas should I use semi-flush fixture? What are their purposes?

The fixture that should be used will be determined by the ceiling height, the area, and physical dimensions of the room.

11. What are the most recommendable lighting techniques that should be used for a personal office at my home?

A personal office should be an area that’s comfortable, and invites you to work; this isn’t easy especially if this space is only used part of the time. Therefore the fixtures should follow the décor of the space, and should include good task lighting such as a desk lamp, under cabinet, etc.
