Other ways to light your display:
There are several linear light systems available to light the
merchandise and not the customer. The light sources available
are xenon, halogen and fluorescent fixtures. Halogen bulbs last
about 3000hrs., Xenon last about 6,000 - 10,000 hrs., Fluorescent
bulbs last about 20,000 hrs. The type of merchandise will help
determine the best light source that should be used.
Example: A Halogen source might be too hot for very expensive
watches. The oil evaporates with the heat generated and the watch
could fail. Therefore an alternate source would be used.
Another way to light your display:
This is a linear fluorescent system designed to light toward your
display and not toward your clients. It can also be used as a
rack in your closet, etc.
